About Dayfigure

A date calculator site with one rule: never hide the counting convention behind an answer.

Dayfigure is an independent project by Nan Liang — part of a small family of single-purpose web tools. Nan Liang also writes at javaeye.dev. Questions and corrections: support@dayfigure.com.

Why counting standards matter

"How many days until" sounds like one question with one answer. It is three questions wearing a trench coat. Excel counts both endpoints; payment terms start counting tomorrow; an insurance policy may define "business day" to exclude state holidays nobody else removed. Every calculator here shows all the conventions that apply, side by side, so the number you act on is a number you chose with your eyes open.

What we deliberately do not do

No accounts, no tracking pixels beyond standard analytics, no "premium" gates on arithmetic. The monetization is unobtrusive advertising — clearly separated from the calculators, never disguised as results.
